The final of the Women’s Spanish Super Cup was played on Saturday with Atletico Madrid Femenino emerging victorious

Super Falcons star, Rasheedat Ajibade won her first professional trophy at club level after Atletico Madrid beat Levante in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.

Ajibade only joined Las Rojiblancas this month, and she already has her first major trophy. Atletico Madrid got to the final after upsetting Spanish champions, Barcelona, on penalties-although Ajibade did not feature in the encounter.

However, the 21-year-old made her debut on Saturday night, coming on as an 80th-minute substitute for her fellow new arrival and star of the match, Njoya Ajara Nchout.

The Cameroonian also joined Atletico in January and had a debut to remember as she scored twice to help Dani González ladies to a comfortable 3-0 win.
