The federal government has been accused of destroying Nigeria’s reputation on the international scene following its alleged disobedience to court orders and disloyalty to the rule of law.

The claim was made by John Campbell, a former United State (US) ambassador to Nigeria on Thursday, December 19, as he made reference to the ordeal of Omoyele Sowore at the hands of the Department of States Service (DSS), Premium Times reports.

Campbell said: “The state security service assault on a courtroom and the re-arrest of Sowore has already damaged the country’s international reputation.”
