Residents have been gripped with fear after two young women were found dead in a thicket at Abrepo in Kumasi area of Ghana.
According to reports, bodies of the two women believed to be between 25 and 30 years, were recovered Thursday in different positions near Samad Hotel with used condoms around the scene and unused ones in their bags.
One of them, whose pant was removed to the knee level, was found in what is popularly referred to as “doggy position” with her stomach and face lying flat on the ground.
The other lady had her ‘stretch’ trousers stripped to the thigh region, exposing her beads. She had no panties on.
While some residents suspect the two were prostitutes, others were of the view they were sexually assaulted and murdered at the scene. No visible marks of assault were found on the two women whose identities have not been established yet.
Their bodies have been removed from the scene by the Suame Police and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
The Suame District Police have declined comment on the alleged homicide. Officials at the Regional Police Command say though they have heard about the case, it has not officially been brought to their attention
